Hedingham Castle Ticket Portal

NEW FOR 2026!

Step into a unique and enchanting world where medieval history meets magical theatre, all with a generous sprinkling of festive magic. Our brand-new, hand-crafted illuminations trail is like no other!

For the very first time, the historic grounds of Hedingham Castle are being transformed into an enchanted realm of light, sound and theatrical magic. Experience ‘The Knight Before Christmas’: an original and immersive journey through history, guided by Baubry, Hedingham’s very own Blue Boar Cub.

Venture through the Story Portal and discover the magic of Christmas along the ancient woodland trail, which has been created entirely in-house by independent artists to bring the Valley Walk to life with theatrical performances that go far beyond a standard Christmas light trail.

Once you have completed the trail, continue your evening over at the Norman Keep in our pop-up cafe, serving street food and a selection of festive refreshments to refuel after your winter adventure.
